Over the Top Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. So this week our theme is Over The Top. That means lots of layers and a WOW card! I think I accomplished that with the Seaside Wishes Bundle:
I have so many layers and diecuts on this card along with a little bit of stamping. The bundle includes a hybrid embossing folder, which means the embossing folder and dies are run through our machine at the same time to cut and emboss in one step or you can use them separately. See what I mean below?
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Seaside Wishes, Happiest Day
- Inks: Petal Pink, Crumb Cake
- Cardstock: Petal Pink, Azure Afternoon, Fresh Freesia, Petunia Pop, Soft Sea Foam, Basic White, Crumb Cake
- Tools & Accessories: Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder, Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Labeled With Love Punch
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Petal Pink Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Azure Afternoon Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Crumb Cake Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Use the embossing folder only to emboss. Stamp the dotted image at the top with Crumb Cake Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Crumb Cake Cardstock 3-3/4 x 1-1/2. Rip to top towards you across the whole cardstock layer. Sponge to torn edge with Crumb Cake Ink. Stamp the rocks and dots images with Crumb Cake Ink. Glue to the bottom only of the Crumb Cake layer to create a pocket.
- Add the following diecuts to the inside of the pocket:
- Sentiment: Stamp on Basic White Cardstock with Petal Pink Ink. Cut with the Labeled With Love Punch. Glue flat to the right side.
- Shells: Use the embossing folder and die to cut 1 small and 1 medium shell with Petal Pink Cardstock. Tuck and glue at the left.
- Large Diecut Shell: Diecut one large shell with Fresh Freesia Cardstock. Tuck and glue to the back of the Petal Pink shells.
- Grass: Cut one of each grass blade with Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. Tuck and glue under the shells.
- Starfish: Stamp one large starfish on Basic Beige Cardstock with Basic Beige Ink. Cut with the die. Tuck and glue to the right of the shells.
- Small Diecut Shell: Diecut one small shell with Petunia Pop Cardstock. Tuck and glue to the right side.
- Small Starfish: Stamp one small starfish on Azure Afternoon Cardstock with Azure Afternoon Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add all four colors of sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the background.
