Paper Perfection Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Connie & Mary! Who doesn’t love designer paper? And especially Stampin’ Up!’s designer paper. Our concept artists always come up with the most beautiful patterns. This week’s blog hop is all about featuring our newest designer papers.
I chose to feature our Flight & Airy Designer Paper that you can earn for free until February 29th during Sale-A-Bration. I even added birds that I fussy-cut from one of the patterned sheets:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Inspirational Sketches
- Inks: Blueberry Bushel
- Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Flight & Airy
- Tools & Accessories: Deckled Circles Dies, Night Of Navy Bordered Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots, Mini Glue Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Blueberry Bushel Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Flight & Airy Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Blueberry Bushel Cardstock cut with the 3-1/2″ Deckled Circles Dies. Set aside.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 3-1/4″ Deckled Circles Dies. Glue to the blue circle. Cut off about 1/4″ to form a flat edge on the circle. Glue even with the left edge of the designer paper.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment at the top of the white circle with Blueberry Bushel Ink.
- Birds: Cut (2) birds from the designer paper with Paper Snips. Glue to the white circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ribbon: Tie a double-bow with the ribbon and glue to the bottom right on the circle with Mini Glue Dots
- Bling: Add Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dotsw to the white circle.
