We Are Casing The Catalog This Month, Keep Reading!
If you belong to my Stamp & Ink Designs Group on Facebook, this is the Creative Challenge that I posted for all members for June. I chose a card sample in the Annual Catalog and asked everyone to “CASE=Copy & Selectively Edit”. You can see that I used the layout of the card to create a new card with:
You can use the layout or the colors or the theme. The Hello Kiwi stamp set was one of the first ones I ordered when the Annual Catalog debuted in May. I love the images and they are so easy to fussy cut. You can see the pretty details in the stamp images:
Card Products Used:
- Stamps: Hello Kiwi
- Inks: Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Tuxedo Black Memento
- Cardstock: Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Bright & Beautiful
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Countryside Corners Dies, Happy Labels Pick A Punch
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Berry Burst Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 2-1/4″. Glue to the right about 1/2″ from the edge.
- Layer 3: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock cut with the Countryside Corners Dies 4-1/2″ long. Stamp the dotted image repeatedly with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Fruit: Follow these steps:
- Raspberries: Stamp (2) with the lined image on Basic White Cardstock with Berry Burst Ink. Stamp the inside of the berries with Berry Burst Ink on scrap paper first and without reinking for a lighter ink color. Cut with Paper Snips.
- Kiwi 1/2 Slices: Stamp (2) with the half slice kiwi image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Stamp the inside with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Cut with Paper Snips.
- Kiwi Full Slice: Stamp (1) with the full slice kiwi image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Stamp the inside with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Cut with Paper Snips.
- Glue all fruit slices with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock 1-3/4″ x 3/4″ with Berry Burst Ink. Cut both ends using the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Glue over the fruit.
