Stampers Dozen Blog Hop For December 2023

Thankful Hearts Theme!

It’s that time of the month! It’s our November Stampers Dozen Blog Hop and we are all thankful this month. What are you most thankful for? I used the Cheers To The Season stamp set along with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder for a split panel card:

It was so easy to assemble the two Very Vanilla Cardstock layers and then all I did was stamp multiple leaves, snipped one into pieces and tucked and glued. Isn’t the dry embossing pretty on the front?

Here’s the how-to:

• Card Base: Very Vanilla Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
• Layer 2: Very Vanilla Cardstock 5″ x 2-1/4″. Emboss with the Leaf 3D Embossing Folder. Make a tick mark at the top right at 1/4″ and bottom left at 1/4″. Make a diagonal cut. Glue each section to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, leaving about 1/4″ spacing on the left & right sides.
• Leaves: Follow these steps:
  • Ink the leaf image with Crushed Curry Ink.
  • With a Blending Brush or Spong Dauber, add Old Olive Ink in some areas over the Crushed Curry Ink.
  • Stamp on Very Vanilla Cardstock and handcut.
  • Clean the stamp image and repeat a second time.
  • Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the center of one leaf and glue to the bottom of the card front between the two embossed layers.
  • Using Paper Snips, cut the second leaf into pieces. Tuck and glue flat under the embossed layer.
• Bling: Add Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the background on the center section.
