We Have A Sketch Challenge This Month!
Hello, Good Evening and welcome to a June Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. Below you will find a photo of a sketch that we all used on our project this month for our June Blog Hop:
I love the 3 skinny strips behind one of the panels and I decided to use the Fresh As A Daisy Suite for my card. I love all of the coordinating products. See what I mean?
If you look at all of the patterns, I used a total of five from the designer paper. Here are a few more photos and I’ll give you the measurements that I used for each layer as well:
I even used sand paper to sand the embossing folder bumps and they turned white!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Cheerful Daisies
- Inks: Boho Blue, Cajun Craze
- Cardstock: Boho Blue, Cajun Craze, Basic White, Wild Wheat
- Designer Paper: Fresh As A Daisy
- Tools & Accessories: Cheerful Daisies Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Boho Blue 3/8″ Textured Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Basics 3D Embossing Folder
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Cajun Craze Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper 5-1/4″ x 4″. Emboss using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Use a sanding block or sand paper to sand the bumps before you remove it from the embossing folder. The bumps should turn white. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Three strips of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper 4-1/2″ x 1″. Glue to card front at different angles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Cajun Craze Cardstock 3-3/4″ x 3″. Glue to card front about 1-3/8″ from the top.
- Layer 5: Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper 3-1/2″ x 2-3/4″. Glue to Cajun Craze layer.
- Layer 6: Basic White Cardstock 3″ x 2-1/4″. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom using Garden Green Ink. Stamp the daisy image repeatedly using Boho Blue Ink. Glue layer to card front.
- Ribbon: Tie a knot with the Boho Blue Textured Ribbon. Glue to the bottom left corner of the stamped layer with Mini Glue Dots.
- Daisy: Stamp one daisy with the small flower image and Boho Blue Ink on Boho Blue Cardstock. Cut with the die and glue above the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Branch: Cut one branch with the die and Wild Wheat Cardstock. Add some shading with Cajun Craze Ink and a Sponge Dauber. Glue tucked under the flower.
