More Cards From Our April Shoebox Swap!
Have you ever participated in a Shoebox Swap? If you don’t know what that means, it’s so much fun! You create a group of stampers for a shoebox swap gathering. Each person designs a completed card and then makes card kits for everyone else attending. In the shoebox, you include all the stamps, inks, dies, punches, ribbon, etc that you used on the cards so everyone can replicate.
Since there are 3 of us in the Triple D’s group, we design 2 cards each so when our gathering is complete, we go home with 6 cards completed!
Deb Clark is part of our trio and she designed both of these cards. She always tells me that she is a “caser” which means she likes to copy work from others and that’s part of stamping. I do that sometimes as well when I don’t want to do any thinking!
The first card uses a set from our last Sale-A-Bration called Beautifully Happy. I didn’t get to use my set much so I was glad to use it on this pretty card.
For card #2, the card has two flaps. One on the front of the card to make the card stand up as usual and the addition of a 2nd smaller flap on the side. The By The Bay Designer Paper did all of the work for us on this beautiful card!
Tomorrow I’m going to start showing you some new products that will be available for May 2nd. I’ve been busy creating some new projects!
