Trim it Down Theme!
Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. Last week, our team featured Over The Top projects. This week we are Trimming It Down with simple cards. Here’s mine:
The Leaf Collection stamp was perfect to use. It’s a huge background stamp that filled up my 2nd layer of Basic White Cardstock. All I needed after that was a sentiment and a little bit of bling!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Leaf Collection, Layering Leaves
- Inks: Lemon Lime Twist, Tuxedo Black Memento
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Stamp the Leaf Collection image with Lemon Lime Twist and stamp the white layer. Add a sentiment with by using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink a little lower to the center. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots to the background.
