White Embossing and White Pencil Coloring Technique!
I am so in love with this new-to-me technique. I attended a Stampin’ Up! OnStage@Home event recently and one of our presenters showed this technique. Oh my! I just had to hurry and create some cards. Our event was three days long and once I had a minute to myself, I got busy!
The A Good Man stamp set was great to use with this technique because of the lined images you can color. I started out by picking cardstock colors that would work well with white.
I stamped all of my images with VersarMark Ink and sprinkled with White Embossing Powder. The Heat Tool melted the powder and then I colored with a white pencil from our Watercolor Pencils. I selected certain parts of each image to color, leaving some uncolored.
I used these three cards as a class on my Facebook group page: Stamp & Ink Designs and then added the video to YouTube. You can find it here:
If you decide to try this technique, have fun! I promise you’ll love it!
